- 3 / 5By Neil FranzenThis is classic Wisconsin tavern. The perch sandwiches were good, if a little heavy on the tartar. Fries are also quite good, but be sure to order them on the side, as they don't come with the sandwich. The Capital Amber on tap sported a little funk to the taste, possibly from lines needing a quick clean. On my visit for lunch on a Friday, the bartender was quite difficult, making the experience frustrating. Credit goes to the owner of the establishment, as she recognized this and told me it would be addressed. It sounds like this definitely isn't the norm.June 10, 2016
